Housing workshop with Thomas (hybrid event)

Join this hybrid event (possible to join online and offline) and get a step closer to obtaining a mortgage and buying a property in the Netherlands.

Starting 17.30 Zandkasteel, Amsterdam

What can you expect from Expat Mortgages Webinar?
We open our (digital) doors at 17.00 and start at 17.30 with a short presentation, covering the basic steps of buying a house. We start by answering if you are eligible for a mortgage and what the bank will look at. We also look at different mortgage options, giving you a couple of simple formulas to calculate the maximum borrowing capacity and monthly costs.

We further talk about the importance of buying agents, independent notaries and tax advisors. After a 30-40 min presentation, we look at all individual questions and answer them live. The workshop ends around 18.30 and if you still have any remaining questions, you will be given the opportunity to schedule a new meeting.

Location:
Live: Zandkasteel, Bijlmerplein 888, 1102 MG Amsterdam
When you enter the building (to the right of the Douwe Egberts café), you will be welcomed at the front desk.
Online: via Zoom.

Speaker
Thomas van den Bosch
Thomas was born in the City of The Hague, and now lives in Leiden. As a student, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Dutch Law. His dream was to become a lawyer. After his Law degree, he was ready to work and didn’t want to study another 4 to 7 years. In his previous job as mortgage review analyst, he came in contact with mortgage advisors, and thought, “Hey, those people are the lawyers of someone’s financial situation; that’s what I want to do.” Four years later, his readjusted dream became a reality. What motivates him is that his clients can make well-informed decisions, and he can help make it possible to buy their dream home. When he’s not at work, he likes to go to the gym. His hobby, in which he is knowledgeable, is brewing beer. He does this at home, and for this, he turns the whole house upside down.
